wilting dandelions (a sijo, escapril day 7)

tendrils crawl from her eyes and overtake a face that has lain 
dormant for too long, replacing tears welled deep inside the soul;
she buries the secrets. the vines pull her with them into the soil.

Day 7: naked

So, this strayed quite a bit from the prompt to the point where it's basically unconnected, but I'm counting it nonetheless. This is a Sijo, which is a kind of Korean verse—each line is between 14-16 syllables. Enjoy!
