imagist poems

waves fumble-crash on (quivering)
grains, tumbling into the deep.

---

needles catch on endless thread;
the quilt frayed—growing, dying.

---

acrylic paint spilled across pavement;
handprints permanently planted on the ground.

---

the television screen shatters & soft static stills to silence—
lemon juice dripping down the wall.

---

cars tires swish by, headlights glowing,
steady raindrops drumming under dark clouds.

---

These are actually from old poems that I've made, but in a different style (Imagism)! The goal is to create a single image and being concise with your words.
